Weather: We do not fly in sustained winds above 20 mph or ground temperatures above 104°F. If a flight is scrubbed, we fly it within 48 hours of conditions clearing at no extra cost.
Service area: Nevada, Northern Arizona, and Southern Utah. Outside that, ask anyway and we will tell you straight whether it is worth mobilising.
The more you can tell us up front, the more useful the first reply will be. A site boundary, an approximate acreage, and the deliverable you need are usually enough to quote from.
Attaching a boundary: a zipped shapefile, a KML or KMZ inside a zip, a PDF plan, or a photo of a marked-up plan all work. Up to three files, 25 MB each. If your file will not upload, email it to david@uavmapserv.com and we will pick it up from there.

We operate across Nevada, Northern Arizona, and Southern Utah. If you are just outside that, ask anyway and we will tell you plainly whether mobilising makes sense for the job.
Scheduling depends on airspace and weather more than on our calendar. Sites in controlled airspace need authorization arranged in advance, which is usually quick but occasionally requires a longer review. We confirm a date once that is cleared.
A site boundary, an approximate acreage, and what the data has to support. If you know the coordinate system and vertical datum your civil model uses, include that too. It is the most common source of rework when it is discovered late.
GeoTIFF orthomosaics, DSM and DTM surfaces, LAS point clouds, DXF or SHP contours and linework, and volume reporting as PDF and CSV. We confirm formats against your engineering software before the flight rather than after.
Yes, and most of our flying is on live sites. We coordinate flight windows around crew activity, brief the superintendent before mobilizing, and place ground control clear of active work areas.
